About

Transition Carbon Capital.

We pay for and run carbon-credit programmes on behalf of the people doing the physical work. Almost a decade of building these files across regions and continents. Not a campaign, and not a shop selling offsets to the public.

The firm.

Two kinds of work, held to one standard of evidence.

We fund it and we run it

The same two-person team sets up the company, writes the method, builds the reporting system, takes the file through independent audit and sells the credits. Nothing is handed off to a consultant.

Our own programmes

Many operators join one registered programme, held in its own company. Joining is free, the terms are published, and every participant is on the same deal.

Projects brought to us

Larger programmes already under way that need early-stage funding for the carbon work, plus the technical and commercial expertise to reach issuance.

What we will not do

Present a forecast tonne as an issued credit, or agree a private term with one participant that the rest of the group cannot see.

The name is the thesis.

Transition

Moving an activity from unmanaged and high-emitting to something measured, financed and demonstrably better than we found it.

Carbon

The unit is one tonne. If it cannot be clearly defined, shown to be additional and eventually verified by an outside body, we will not raise money against it.

Capital

Private money, put to work because a market is willing to pay for those tonnes. Rules and public funding matter too, but neither replaces a buyer.

A small, fast team.
